May 12th. Fish and Family

 Someone needed to rest after yesterday so Mary Ann and I went to have breakfast by ourselves. No it was me that needed the rest. Meghan was off exploring Busan on her own. I think she did a good job. 

So Mary Ann and I walked to a small cafe that looks out on the small harbor here where the fishing boats are. On our way we saw this.

We had a nice leisurely breakfast, then strolled about the boats. They may not look like much, but they feed a lot of people.

Well one you can’t see. That’s Mary Ann standing there next to them. 

We then went on to discover the empty rooftop of hotel while Meghan hopped a bus out to the temple by the water an hour north of here.

Tonight we are meeting our Korean family for dinner. For those who know this would be Becki and her daughter Young In. Becki’s son was working but sent his best. And Meghan returned in time to join us.

Then we return to Becki’s house. If you have ever meet someone you haven’t seen in years yet have known them most of your adult life, you get the idea. Add into that someone who does not speak Korean and you have the makings of a fun time.

Becki got a new phone and could not call us. Mary Ann figured out the correct code and this is her calling me as if I was in the USA

So off to dinner and great Bulgogi. 

Then back to Becki’s. This time Becki, Mary Ann and I fake the Taxi and Meghan and Young In walk of their own choosing.

Some more fun back at Becki’s then time to taxi home. We will drop Young In off in her part of the city since if is on the way back to our hotel. 

Someone bought coffee. 

One last look at the rooftop at night. Same crowd as the afternoon. Same music. 

And to those who found the bird. No fish but a free year long subscription to my blog.
