June 3rd. Buses and temples

Well today was sunny and bright but most of our group needed sleep after a tough day yesterday. Despite that we were on a bus headed for the temple of the Gold Pavillon. Had it changed in 50 years? The pavilion no but the number of people there yes. And some old pathways closed. Which was OK.

Then off to Rionji temple with the Zen Garden of rocks and raked small stones. It was almost the same. And the crowds did not seem to follow us.

From here off to the Kyoto Crafts Store to buy some items for folks back home. Unfortunately, I left early to find the bar Bob and I go to and we got separated. Took sometime to find each other but we did.

And then some fine sleuthing work by Patricia and Jonah netted us a fine sushi dinner. Back home for a moving day and hiking day for Patricia and Jonah.

Goodnight
