So we got up late in order to have the French toast at a coffee shop next door. Late means getting out the door a little after 11:00 am. Not too late for them. They open at 12:00 pm noon. So we go down to our usual (now) and wake up there.
Our next project is to send clothes back to the USA that I brought and don't really need. Pack a box ful plus some gifts for friends and off to the PO. And you thought it was difficult in the USA. After 1/2 hour of back and forth and using phone numbers of people whose AirB&b we are staying in, some old clothes get shipped to the USA for $95.00. Don't say it.
Now for the bright side. We are on our way to our old Seoul house and run across a brunch cafe. Seoul never seems to disappoint.
We go to the house/compound where we stayed for over 2 years in central Seoul and where Renai, our first daughter was brought home to after she was born. I had brought some photos of when we stayed there. It is now a UNESCO site because of it's Korean style house which we did not live in. We were in one of the small houses in the compound. Picture please.
Me resting at the small house we lived in.
Mary Ann at the house the Kowalczyk's lived in.
The alley leading up to the house.
So we walked around looking for someone that we could share the pictures from 50 years ago that I had brought. We finally found a sweet girl who conducts the English tours on Friday and shared the photos with her. We told her we would be back with our granddaughters and give the photos to her at that time.
Back to our room, rest and tonight back for more tapas down the street. It did not disappoint.
Patricia
