April 7th Happy Birthday Meghan

Started out a slow day. we had to be out of the last place by 11:00 am. Usual Time. Being a Sunday we had trouble getting a taxi. when we finally did, we left a bag with Makoli and head rests outside our apartment gate. the people there are looking for it. one less thing to carry. And we thought we packed light.

I am preparing a box of things I don't need to send home this week. go ahead and laugh Jessica.

So our taxi driver finally finds the street and apartment we will be in for the next 8 days. How nice it is. Compact but on the 2nd floor with an elevator, washing machine, frig and private bathroom. I will let the pictures speak for the neighborhood.

                                            Abbey Road Korea Style.

Crowded with people wanting to see the cherry blossoms.

One of the many small cafes on this street.

                                                         Mary Ann at the cafe.

At the local market, you buy a tray and special coins to get the street food sold in there.

And it has a French Restaurant we will try later in the week. Sorry Tripp.

The view of the street from our window.

Went to walk around and have a beer while Mary Ann rested and look what I ran into.

                                                         A dirty cat.

                                                       Some nice houses.

                                                              Dead Cherry Blossoms.

                                                            A beautiful tree.

A Pilsner Urqeul

So I thought it was the end of the day. Then Mary Ann got a little hungry and we ended up in Spain. Korea has come a long way. This neighborhood is like the Village in NYC.

Grilled octopus on potatoes.

                                                       A great Spanish wine.
